In 2024, Paul Suchan was lucky to be part of some special projects. First was the release of an album of his jazz orchestra music in collaboration with Toronto-based composer Silas Friesen (who spent much of his growing-up years in Saskatchewan): Suchanfriesen.bandcamp.com
In June, Suchan organized the 2025 Strata Festival of New Music, a series of concerts that featured the music of Rodney Sharman; a concert of new music for the lowest acoustic instruments in Saskatchewan; and new music composed for Saskatchewan-made video games that was performed in concert simultaneously with a “gamer” playing the game.  stratafest.com
